In the last newsletter, we told you that we were waiting for some good weather to remove and replace the roof. Well, there was a little good weather, followed by a certain amount of rain. Paul McKone and John Sellens never really imagined that they would ever find themselves mopping in the rain at 3 in the morning!
But the roof went back on, and was made weather tight, and the outside of the building looks better than ever now. The inside of the Studio, while coming along well, still needs a little bit of work. The new walls have all been framed, we're about to get the electrical inspection done, and we're getting ready to start the insulation and drywall. But there's enough in place already to make it obvious that the new, improved Studio is going to be fabulous!
A big thank you to all our volunteers for their wonderful work!
If you can volunteer some of your time to help us finish the Studio, please leave a message at KWLT for Paul McKone. And stay tuned for the official launching of our ``Raise the Roof!'' Building and Capital Projects fundraising campaign!
