Newsletter Plans!

Part of the responsability of the Director of Membership is to ensure that Newsletters are written to inform KWLT members of what is happening at the theatre. I have devised the following time schedule for the 1995-96 Newsletters. The dates given are the expected deadlines for items to be included in the Newsletter.

• September/October -> September 1
• November/December -> November 3
• January/February '96 -> January 5, '96
• March/April -> March 1
• May/June -> May 10
• July/August -> July 5

I want to invite all KWLT members to become active contributors to the KWLT Newsletter. Here are some of the regular columns that I would like to include in each Newsletter. I have included a brief description of the intention and how you can participate in that column.

Member News This column would let you know what other members are doing. It is an opportunity to recognize the special achievements of our members. The only way that this will work well is if the membership contribute what they know about what is going on with other members. Although I would like to know each and every member, it is unlikely that this will be achieved, so please help me out!

Members' Comments This would be entirely devoted to the membership. It is a chance to voice questions, comments, or even show reviews that you may have. If there are questions, they will be followed with an answer. I feel that this is an excellent way to express what you would like to see in the future, as well as comment on the past.

KWLT Historical Facts (Did you know ...) I will definitely need help with this column. I think that it is important to let the membership know KWLT's history. I'm sure many interesting things have happened to KWLT in the past 60 years!

Suggestions Any suggestion that you might have for KWLT would be appreciated. There will soon be a suggestion box at the theatre, or feel free to just leave me a message.

Welcome to New and Renewed Members Just to let you know who has joined or renewed their memberships.

Thank Yous A formal thank you to those members that have volunteered their time.

Show Summaries This column would keep you up to date with KWLT productions, past, present and future.
